In General
This Privacy Notice, where the wording 'You' or 'Data Subject' refers to the natural person whose personal data is processed, explains what personal data Swiss-CyberSecurity collects from the Data Subject through the interaction with the Data Subject, how personal data is managed and how the Data Subject can have control over it.
Swiss-CyberSecurity complies with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and will not share personal data with third-parties unless an explicit consent will be provided, or if the law will require.
Data Collection and Protection
Swiss-CyberSecurity collects data required for services rendered by Swiss-CyberSecurity (e.g. subscribe to an event on Meetup.com, Eventbrite.com, swiss-cybersecurity.ch/mlist, exchange of business cards with the Swiss-CyberSecurity team members) such as first name, last name, e-mail as well as all updates of this data.
Swiss-CyberSecurity collects only the minimal amount of personal data to operate services effectively and to provide to the Data Subject the best experience with the events.
Swiss-CyberSecurity will state the explicit purpose for the collection and not use the collected data for other purposes. When no longer needed for the original purpose, the personal data of the Data Subject will be safely erased from the records.
Swiss-CyberSecurity has implemented reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect the personal data against unauthorized access, misuse, loss or destruction.
If at any point in time the Data Subject might decide for the personal data to be modified or removed, please revert to our contact details and inform us accordingly.
The usage of your data
Swiss-CyberSecurity collects and uses the Data Subject personal data only to invite to the Swiss-CyberSecurity events as attendee, speaker or sponsor. Data subjects might be also be notified about events organized by other organizations, where Swiss-CyberSecurity offers discounts.
Email, chat, video calls or voice mail contents are not used to target marketing or advertisements to you.
Swiss-CyberSecurity is never recording voice conversations, and do not pass along any personal data which may have been obtained during conversations with the Data Subject, unless if expressly authorized.
Transfer Abroad
Swiss-CyberSecurity is not transferring any personal data abroad (also outside of the European Union). In the event Swiss-CyberSecurity has to transfer Data Subject personal data abroad, the Data Subject will receive a detailed notification about the whole process.
Third Parties
Swiss-CyberSecurity will not sell, lease or otherwise pass on your personal data to anybody outside of the association.
Swiss-CyberSecurity will not share your data with third-parties, unless Swiss-CyberSecurity received the consent to do so, or if required by law.
You may, at any point in time, revoke your consent for the sharing of data.
Access and Control to Your Personal Data
At any point in time the Data Subject have the right to: access, rectify, erase, restrict of processing, data portability, objection, and to not be subject to automated decision-making.
